Abstract: This research made a non-contact anthropometric measurement of 200 male university students through the advanced three-dimension body scanner.8 relevant measurements to the neck were drawn considering the necessary measurements in pattern design of fashion collars,and corresponding categorized indexes were prescribed.SPSS software was utilized to carry out cluster analysis of the measurement data according to the preset categorized indexes,thus subdividing the young men′s necks into 7 types.The intermediate values of every neck type and grading number values of every measurement were calculated.So series of size specifications fit for each type of young men′s neck accordingly were worked out, which will provide more reference for the structure design of men′s fashion collars and for preparing garment size specifications and the production of ready-to-wear.
