Abstract: This paper describes the style and function of the pouch,and the habits of how to wear it.In terms of the function,it can be classified into two aspects: i.e.practical and aesthetic.It elucidates the evolution of the pouch,including its origin,history of development and 3 reasons leading to its disappearance in modern times in China,such as the modern life style,the aesthetic and the economic factors,the imitating rule of the garments.Finally,the paper discusses the approach to continuing of the pouch.
