Abstract: Recently,application of quick response(QR) strategy in apparel supply chain is encountering bottleneck.Thus,a new mechanism called generalized QR strategy is suggested based on an integrated idea of ″fashion forecasting,collaborative business and risk-monitoring″.The proposed mechanism employs extended current business intelligence based on combination of Web Services,agent and data mining.Service-oriented system provides fashion forecasting tools,collaborative business decision support tools with fashion forecasting and supply chain risk early warning tools for every member such as apparel producers,sellers and fabric suppliers.The system settles support problems,such as safe information exchange and share,and cooperation mechanism,which are needed for implementing quick response under new market environments.The system can implement QR more efficiently.
