Abstract: Based on the deep study of the technological structure and classification of jacquard warp knitted seamless garment as well as the structural characteristics of human body, the prototype pattern for the designing and technology of warp jacquard seamless garment was established from the perspective of sports functionality. Using the clothing prototype theory and the principle of jacquard warp seamless knitting, the corresponding relationship between the combined straight barrel shaping structure seamless garment and the human structure size was studied, and also the 2D prototype template of a jacket and trousers in . bmp format that compatible the designing and technological software was obtained. According to the human structural principle and the fat distribution features, the method of functional areas division of the prototype templates and graphic designing was proposed, thus, an effective way of new product development for jacquard warp knitting seamless garment was developed.
