Abstract: This article deals with the development of a pile blanket with different face on the back.The pile blanket was woven with pure cotton and real silk as fleece yarns.A new weave was designed so that part of cotton yarns could be drawn out from the side with piles to the other side with no piles so as to fabricate a pile blanket whose one side is cotton pile and the other is silk pile.The production method,weave and specifications of the product were discussed.Its manufacture procedure and chief parameters such as loom speed,warp tension,shedding time and so on were discussed,providing a guideline for development of this kind of pile blanket.
