Abstract: Fuzzy sets and expert system were adoped to develop the fuzzy expert system for evaluating the style of fabrics.This system was an intellectual computer procedure,which had great flexibility.It could update knowledge and modify the system to adjust to the different needs usually.This system solved the dispersive and inferior comparable problems caused by evaluating with single property indexes.It has wonderful practical value.
