Abstract: Since the research about transitional design of multi-bar Raschel lace is not well documented both at home and abroad, this paper addressed the importance of the transition design in designing multi-bar Raschel lace based on systematic study and scientific classification of the multi-bar Raschel lace patterns, the design steps of Raschel lace patterns based on analyzing their pattern compositions, structures and design skills, discussed the step and method of pattern transition, the concept, elements, arrangement, connections of transitional design of Raschel lace, along with specific problems and countermeasures, thus providing valued reference for the pattern design of multi-bar Raschel lace.
