Abstract: Since the fabric is porous,the liquid drops will go into pores of the fabric as soon as they come into contact with the fabric surface.A general contact angle meter is not suitable for this kind of measuring.This paper introduces a novel measuring technique which can measure not only the surface contact angle formed with the liquid but also the capillary contact angle in the porous.Besides,it can also obtain some other characteristic parameters of the wettability of the fabric.
