Abstract: To study the effect of different types of web cleaner on the card sliver quality,we have done the comparison test between the guide plate web cleaner and the anti-teeth guided flat web cleaner under the condition of the same amount of air volume.Test the card sliver produced under the above conditions using USTER AFIS single fiber test system.The results show that the quality of the card slivers processed by anti-teeth guided flat web cleaner is better than that processed by guide plate web cleaner.It may be attributed to the action of anti-teeth guided flat web cleaner excluding the shore-staple,impurities and neps being an ″active″action and the guide plate web cleaner being a″passive″action.When the web cleaner is situated in the back plate,it is better to use the anti-teeth guided flat web cleaner.
