Abstract: The methods for color perception description and evaluation were studied.10 pairs of antonym were used to describe the different aspects of color sense on the basis of investigation.15 color samples were evaluated by professionals.The results showed that the discrepancy between colors perception could be given by these words and this method could be adoptedin color selection and application.The color perception was also studied by the factorial analysis process.The results of factorial analysis showed that the color perception could be divided into two main factors:material factor and perceptive factor.The aspects of color sense described by 10 pairs of antonym belong to the two main factors respectively.
