Abstract: With the help of the electron microscope and scanning electron microscope,profiled polyester fibers with cross section shaped just like"Y","+" and "CO" were analyzed respectively.Four kinds of single and double-faced knit fabrics with different structures and density were manufactured with the profiled polyester fibers,and their wicking height,water retention and drying efficiency were investigated individually.It is found that more abnormal the fiber cross-section,better the moisture-transfer and fast drying properties of its fabric,i.e.,"CO"> "+"> "Y".
