Abstract: A) novel aqueous cobalt phthalocyanine was prepared by modification of cobalt tetraaminophthalocyanine with maleic anhydride and characterized by element analysis and FT-IR.Functional cellulose fibers were obtained by grafting metal phthalocyaniel(MPc) onto cellulose fibers, which can effectively remove methanthiol and ammonia at room temperature. The former was removed by the mechanism of catalytic oxidation, and the latter by the mechanism of neutralization. And the removal ratios after(2 h) were 69.7% and 97.6% respectively.
