Abstract: Two Gemini phosphate surfactants with different structures were synthesized with phosphatizing agent P_2O_5 and POCl_3.The relation between the structure and surface activities,wetting,emulsification,foaming,antistatic,friction properties were investigated.The results showed that the Gemini phosphate surfactants have better surface activities and application properties.The Gemini phosphate surfactant with P_2O_5 as phosphatizing agent shows better surface tension,wetting property,and lubricity where the Gemini phosphate surfactant with POCl_3 as phosphatizing agent exhibits better emulsification,low foaming,antistatic,and cohesion properties.
