Partial physical and chemical properties of the wool regeneration protein and polyacrylonitrile copolymerization fiber

Abstract: The wool regeneration protein and polyacrylonitrile copolymerization fiber is tested and analyzed,and the results show that this new fiber has maintained fine properties of both wool and polyacrylonitrile,such as higher elongation at break,lower breaking strength,higher crimp elasticity and higher moisture adsorption ratio.Meanwhile it is resistant to mild acid,weak alkali,and ordinary organic solvents,and resistant to some reducing agent and oxidant under low temperature conditions.It has characteristic functional groups of both wool and polyacrylonitrile,so it can be dyed by acid dye or cationic dye.
