Abstract: In the light of the problems existing in the size,structure and material of shoulder pads caused by its design usually based on the experiences,the design and manufacture of shoulder pads of clothing are studied starting from the shape,structure and function characteristics of human shoulders.The shoulders of human body are plotted out scientifically from the viewpoint of anatomy,the figure data of shoulders are measured by the 3D auto-anthropometric system and the design of basic style of shoulder pads are completed.According to the changes of shoulder′s structure and the characteristics of fabric,the shape of shoulder pads can be corrected.Compared with the shoulder pads used before,the one newly designed has good effect on the shape and athletics function of clothing and has practicability to some extent.
