Abstract: During the process of designing textile mechanism,it would be helpful for the designer to view the whole dynamic kinetic course of the designed mechanism and the kinetic information(displacement,velocity,acceleration) of any point or linkages of the mechanism in the meantime.Based on the basic structure theory of planar linkage mechanism and topology,the node basic information database and restricting relation database of mechanism were established.The independent basic linkage groups were isolated and solved.The current program was compiled using MatLab and the computer aided analysis and simulation system of the planar linkage mechanism were developed.Warp knitting machine sinker was taken for example to validate the result.For any given mechanism,as long as the known information database of it was input,its dynamic simulation graph and kinetic information of any point or link can be gotten.
