Abstract: To adapt to the development of double or more picking technology,according to the request of weaving and mechanismic characteristic,a new design method of double or more picking was put forward.The weave was expressed by the warp position draft and the condition of warp shedding was reflected by the warp position relative to weft carrier.Having changed the traditional drafting arrangement made that accord with heddles of more eyes,then design the new harness draft and chain draft.Through designing space woven and angular interlocking structure woven,the feasibility of this new design method on more layers woven fabric was validated and this new design method had certain guiding significance for designing and weaving the more layers woven fabric.
