Abstract: The purpose of this research is to develop a sock-pressure measurement system based on LabVIEW visual instrument and to explore a method on sock-pressure measurement differing from cloth-pressure test.A thin,flexible and sensitive FlexiForce sensor is used and the high-precision conditioning module is introduced to process the front signal.With LabVIEW language,the application software for the system is developed,including functions of data acquisition,analysis,save and reappearance.In addition,pressures of different positions of socks wearing on plaster models of feet are measured by this system,and combining with theoretic formula,the pressure distribution of different sock positions is discussed.The research provides a new test means for investigation and evaluation of sock comfort.
