Abstract: The rheological behavior of cellulose carbamate solution and influencing factors were studiedThe results showed that cellulose carbamate in sodium hydroxide solution whose nitrogen contents below 3.57% exhibited shear thinning fluid and its non—Newtonian index less than 1 and these values decreased as the content of CC increased; The index of apparent viscosity was increased as shearing rate increased , and appeared exponential hypotaxis, and experiential formula was obtained; The index of structural viscosity increased slowly as the content of CC increased, and appeared non- linearity increase as the content of CC increased, the rheological behavior became worse as the content of CC was over 5.66%; The pri-spinning temperature of the CC solutions had significant impact on the rheological behavior and it became worse when the temperature was 15℃; the rheological behavior of this solution also turned worse when it was in gel state .
