Abstract: Many interest have been attached to the skin-care finishing textiles in recent years. In this paper, the skin-care finishing agents——squalane microcapsules prepared were used to treat the fabric. The effect of treating method, dosage of adhesive and finishing agent, curing temperature and time on uptake of squalane on the fabric was investigated. The results indicated that the dipping treatment was better than the padding one when SCJ939 was used as adhesive agent. Through orthogonal experiments, the optimum process conditions were determined as follows:adhesive agent 40g/L, finishing agent 50g/L, curing temperature 100℃ and curing time 3min, and 1.2%. After 20 washing cycles the content of squalane on the fabric was able to keep 30% - 40% of the original amount.
