Abstract:

For enhancing the speed of generating textile designs, we proposed a new transform method of IFS images, that is, multiplying the original IFS codes by a new determinant, to obtain new IFS codes, and then the new images were generated from these new IFS codes. Many computer images that are unable to be designed by people’s minds can be generated through this method. For getting visual effect, we used the generated images in combination with the basic knowledge of making textile designs, created novel designs and obtained digital printed fabric by using ink-jet printing.
