Abstract:

Two-bath process dyeing of PLA/cotton/PTT core-spun yarn knitted fabric is time-consuming and low efficiency. A new low temperature one bath dyeing of PLA/cotton/PTT core-spun yarn knitted fabric is investigated, which is energy-saving and environmentally-friendly. The PLA component is not alkali-resistant. For protecting it, Argazol N reactive dyes which can be fixed under neutral condition were chosen to dye the cotton component. At the same time, the mild temperature disperse dyes which can decrease color contamination were chosen to dye PLA and PTT components. Dyeing prescription by addition of dispersing agent NNO 2.5 g / L into the dyeing recipe can achieve good anti-staining effect. Through investigation of fixing temperature of Argazol N Dyes and applying environmentally-friendly carrier CWP-910, PLA/cotton/PTT core-spun yarn knitted fabric can be dyed at low temperature 90℃. Holding the temperature for 30min during dyeing can ensure higher uptaking rate and union dyeing of PLA and PTT components.
