Abstract: In the daily life a larger quantity of seasonal products displayed may attract more customers than that with a smaller quantity of seasonal products. This phenomenon implies that the demand of some products may have a positive correlative with stock level. At the same time a firm can reset its selling price in the different sales stages to promote sales to maximize the profit. This paper researches the pricing and ordering strategy on the non-periodic multi-stage with time-varying demand over a finite planning time, and develops a profit model when the demand is price and stock dependent. The purpose is to maximize the profit by using the optimization to determine the optimal ordering quantity and the optimal prices. Finally an example is adopted to validate the models.
