Abstract: We had a research on desorption process of cotton textile for castor oil , lecithin, liquid paraffin, lanolin, compared with Arabic gum.In certain conditions, secondary reaction kinetics equation was used fitting desorption curves , the correlation coefficient were close to 1. Results showed that: Arabic gum had the biggest desorption quantity and the fastest desorption rates . On the contrary ,lanolin had the smallest desorption quantity, but it had the faster desorption rates than other dirts . Through the SEM surface observations, , Arabic gum on fibers had almost no residual after washing; Lanolin slightly changed before and after washing, castor oil was nither easy absorptive nor easy remove; Lecithin, liquid paraffin, castor oil all had certain degree of residual after washing, some dirts adhered to the fiber surface. Binding energy was different between Stains and the surface of cotton fibers
