Abstract: Leather garment has unique style characteristics and hot-wet comfort performance. Sheep garment leather, PU and PVC artificial materials are used as objects in the experiment. The indexes of t hot-wet comfort have been tested and analysed in order to find the difference between the three materials above. And then, according to SEM image of fiber woven state and pore distribution, the influence on hot-wet comfort performance left by fiber woven pore status in material structure has been studied. The experimental results show that the hot-wet comfort of leather is much better than that of artificial materials. Pores quantity, distribution and channels state in fiber structure and finishing film are the crucial factors that affect damp and hot comfort of leather clothing.
