Abstract: The traditional plate type comber "single" centralized mode determines the carding speed has been difficult to further increase. This paper introduced the assembly line "station" parallel working mode concept, original presents a new parallel combing concept, and based on this principle, design a unit type servo motor drive prototype comber. The cotton feed roller, top comb, the output roller member is disposed in the cylinder circumference of different parts, the abolition of the traditional comber complex reciprocating, inverted and intermittent motion mechanism. Several groups of nipper rotating as cylinder are clamped fiber bundles, the head end and the tail end of combing bundles, separation and synthesis technology action for different fiber palpus bundles in parallel. The elimination of the traditional comber all process action of concentrated in a small area in the same cluster fiber has the space location and time with the stringent requirements. It will be expected to break through the traditional comber speed bottleneck, realize compliant combing under high nipper speed.
