Abstract: In order to decrease vibration and noise of heald frame during weaving, the parametric finite element model of the heald frame was established with ANSYS parameter design language. Natural frequencies and mode shapes of the heald frame in low order were calculated by modal analysis, and executable file for optimizing was defined based on that, then multi-structure sizes were used as design variables, and the structure of it was optimized by zero-order method. In results, the weight of the heald frame was decreased effectively, and design cost of it was also reduced; besides, a group of structure parameters had fine dynamical characteristics were determined in the thesis, and the first natural frequency of the heald frame was increased by 10.79 Hz, vibration resistance of it was improved effectively, and the heald frame after optimizing could be used in the looms with more higher speed.
