Abstract: In order to obtain the relationship between warp filler and quasi-static penetration properties for the 3D angular interlocked woven composites, four kinds of 3D angular interlocked woven fabrics with different layers of warp fillers in the structure were made with glass fiber and the composite plates reinforced with these fabrics were manufactured by the method of vacuum assistant molding. Both the penetration displacement-load curves and displacement-instantaneous absorbed energy curves were obtained to analyze the quasi-static mechanical response course and properties by quasi-static penetration test. The results show that when the warp fillers on warp direction of fabric is increased, the highest penetration load and energy absorbency of 3D woven composites are increase because each group of warp fillers corresponds to an obvious energy absorption area in the impact absorbed energy-displacement curves of composites. At the same time, the breakage displacement of the composites is decrease.
