Antibacterial in -situ treatment of silk fabrics with nano silver

Abstract: The influences of silver ammonia solution concentration, reaction temperature and treatment time on the adsorption capacity of the silver were investigated. The suitable processing of loading silver for silk fabrics was achieved. The silks prepared with this method had good antibacterial effect for Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus. The antibacterial silk fabrics prepared had good washingfastness.
