Abstract: A new kind of magnetic transport unit of tentering and setting which was used in the tentering and setting machine was proposed, and its structure and operational principle was introduced. Then the working process and stress condition of the magnetic suspension vertical supporting system and horizontal guide system were analysed. The preliminary test indicated that this transport unit has the advantages of transfer accuracy, strong anti-interference ability, low energy consumption, low noise, tight configuration and so on which compared to the traditional transport unit of tentering and setting.
