Abstract: In order to study the hydrolysis reaction of bis(halogeno-s-trazine) reactive dyes, reversed-phase ion-pair high performance liquid chromatographic was employed to separate the bis(halogeno-s-trazine) reactive dyes and their hydrolysis products. From some aspects such as the selection of the bis(halogeno-s-trazine) reactive dyes and chromatographic column, selection and optimization of mobile phase, and determination of column temperature, and so on, a establishing procedure of HPLC separation method that appropriated for bis(halogeno-s-trazine) reactive dyes and their hydrolysis products was discussed. By this method the bis(monofluo-s-trazine) reactive dye Reactive Red LS-2G and bis(monochloro-s-trazine) reactive dye Reactive Red KE-3B and their hydrolysis products were separated completely.
