Abstract: To further investigate on the mechanical behavior of textile reinforced flexible composites, and to better design and use the textile reinforced flexible composites, the repeat tensile test were conducted under different load level based on double-layers woven fabric reinforced flexible composites. The variation of maximum elongation and residual deformation with loading cycles were discussed based on curves of load vs. elongation. The change tendency of bilinear zone tensile modulus and yield stress with loading cycles were also analyzed . The experimental results show that the textile reinforced flexible composites exhibit obvious inelasticity, significant nonlinearity, and express bilinear under low stress level. Furthermore, the degree of inelasticity and nonlinearity, and change tendency of tensile modulus and yield stress depend on load level and loading cycles.
