Abstract:

Humanoid pattern is the most variability and representative in the Li brocade, Whose theme and form contain local customs and spirit. It’s an important breakthrough to depth understanding of Li culture. The article expatiated systematically the cause of development, themes and molding style, cultural connotations of humanoid pattern. The factors that affect the origin and development can be summarized at two aspects, the one is religion, the other is “people-oriented” awareness. Its various manifestations can be discussed from the aspects of regional, themes, composition, shape and color. Li brocade reflect that the perfect combination of spiritual culture and aesthetic. The article discuss cultural connotations of auspicious implies and traditional ancestor worship, pointing out that Li people expressed the pursuit of happiness, good moral character and ancestors blessing.
