Abstract:
To study the influence of concomitant content on the breaking strength, modulus, formaldehyde content of jute fiber, the weighing method was used to test the concomitant content of fibers, single fiber tensile was used to test the beraking strength and modulus of fibers, and the UV spectrophotometer was used to test the formaldehyde content of fibers. After analysis, it can be considered that the system consisting of concomitant content, physical, chemical properties of jute fiber was the grey system. The results showed that the cerolipoid content has relatively high impact on its breaking strength and the correlation degree is 0.680. The lignin content has relatively high impact on its modulus and formaldehyde content and the correlation degree is 0.733, respectively.
Key words: jute, concomitant, physical property, chemical property, formaldehyde, grey system analysis
