Abstract:

In order to improve the soil environment and reduce the white pollution caused by plastic films, the agricultural nonwoven films were prepared from paper-making saw dust and viscose fiber by wet laying. The morphology and surface structure of the nonwoven film were characterized. The mechanical properties, water permeability, degradability and light transmittance of the films were tested. Results show that the agricultural nonwnven film with good performance can be prepared by adjusting the surface density, fiber blended ratio and nonwoven binder concentration. The degradation rate of nonwoven film reached above 70% after 40 d soil burial test. The mulch films prepared by wet laying have excellent permeability, which can effectively improve the crop's growth environment.
