Abstract:
In order to study the relationship between the production technology, structure and the performance of the spunbond nonwoven, the spunbond nonwovens with different technological parameters were manufactured with polypropylene(PP). The structure and the air permeability were tested and the porosity was calculated. Through analyzing the test result, the following conclusions can be found. When the frequency of the metering pump is fixed, with the increasing for the frequency of the lace curtaining, the thickness and the areal density will be reduced and the porosity will be bigger. When the frequency of the lace curtaining is defined, with the increasing for the frequency of the metering pump, the changing trend of the thickness, the areal density and the porosity will be turned to the other way. When the frequency of the metering pump increasing to a certain a level, the melt throughput will not influence the fiber diameter obviously. The air permeability of the spunbond nonwoven will be increased with the porosity and there is a power function curvilinear relationship between them.
