Abstract:
One kind of long-chain fatty acid cellulose ester of lauric acid cellulose esters (LACE) were prepared with lauroylchloride as acylating agent and4-Dimethylaminopyridine as catalyst in cellulose/[Bmim]Cl(1-butyl-3–methylimidazolium chloride) homogenous solution system via acylation method. The structure and thermal properties of the obtained LACE were characterized by means of FTIR, 1HNMR, XRD, TG, etc. The esterification conditions that affect substitution degree of products were investigated in detail. And the LACE film was also prepared via delay flow method using LACE membrane solution which were prepared by making LACE with different substitution degree dissolved in CHCl3.At the same time, the film properties were studied by investigating the relationship between the preparation conditions and mechanical properties of LACE film, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was also used to characterize the film properties. The results showed that the LACE with higher degree of substitution(DS) could be prepared when the esterification carried out at 95℃for 4 h with mole ratios of cellulose glycosidase (AGU), 4-Dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP) and lauroyl chloride (LC) was 1:0.03:3. Meanwhile, the products showed good solubility performance in nonpolar solvent and excellent film properties without plasticizer.
