Abstract:
In order to widen the thermochromic temperature of thermochromic materials, using crystal violet lactone (CVL) as chromophore, bisphenol A as developer and tetradecanol – hexadecanol binary mixture as solvent synthesized thermochromic materials. By comparing the thermochromic properties of different ratios of chromophore, developer and solvent, the optimal proportion was determined. According to binary eutectic system theory, the theoretical eutectic point was obtained, and then the actual eutectic point was obtained by experimental analysis. Experimental results showed that the optimal proportion of chromophore, developer and solvent is 1:4:65, and the color difference analysis and DSC analysis showed that the thermochromic properties of these tetradecanol – hexadecanol binary mixture thermochromic materials were good and the thermochromic temperature were between 20 ℃ to 43 ℃.
