Abstract: The lower part of the body mainly consists of waist and abdomen, hip gluteal sulcus and leg. From these parts,18 dimensions which are closely related to the design of skirts and pants were extracted.Predominant feature sections were defined in research, which reduced computation of body average shape and kept 3D original information as much as possible.By analyzing the features of these parts, the relationship was found between garment style transformation and form-points moving.Further,a skeleton sketch may be drawn on a trial basis. Thus, parameterized body models can be developed based on the features of the lower garment. The study results will contribute to the customization and development of skirts and pants.
