Abstract: Polyester/cotton blended fabric was treated by oxygen plasma for improving its wetting property. The effect of plasma treatment on the wetting property of the polyester/cotton blended fabric was analyzed using the hygroscopic capacity/time curve plotted by means of CDCA-100F dynamic contact angle fiber tension-meter.The results indicated that the wetting property was significantly improved. Treatment conditions were varied as a function of power, duration and pressure of plasma treatment, and the correlation of wetting property and treatment conditions was found out.And it was observed that the most significant improvement of the wetting property of the polyester/cotton fabric occurs when the power is (100 W) with a pressure of(25 Pa) for 3 minutes.
