Roving frame control system based on CAN bus

Abstract: A distributed control system built by CAN bus with PCC as its core was applied to a new style roving frame.This paper expatiated on the general structure of the system and execution method,and discussed the characteristics of PCC control.B&R 2003 PCC was used in master computer of the control system and the ACOPOS servo system was used in slave computer.Data communications between them were realized by CAN bus.The speed of the flyers,bobbins,the front rollers and bobbin rail were controlled by four servo-motors separately.The control system has a high accuracy of speed modulation and high-level electromechanical integration.It guarantees yarn quality and realizes precise technological design.The control system has good potential applications.
