Abstract: A kind of water-borne polyurethane used for fabrics was synthesized by self emulsification method, with PEG、PPG、TDI、DMPA and BD as raw materials, and hydrophilic polyurethane coating composite material was prepared further. The influences of temperature and reaction time of prepolymerization, n(-NCO): n(-OH), amount of DMPA, neutralization mode, and emulsification method etc on the properties of water-borne polyurethane emulsion were studied, and the waterproof capability, moisture permeability and biological protection capability of the composite material were tested. The results indicated that this kind of polyurethane had good integrative performances, and the hydrophilic coating composite could provide good waterproof function, moisture permeability and biological protection capability.
