Abstract: A nanometer polyacrylic acid system size SX25PTiO2 was synthesized from dispersed TiO2 solution and polyacrylic acid monomers. Sizing experiments of single yarn and sheet yarns were performed with SX25PTiO2 、SX25 , PVA and a mixture of starch. The results were compared and showed that SX2 5PTiO2 exhibited less hairiness , better bonding strength and moisture absorbance when compared with PVA and conventional polyacrylic acid system size and it could be used for substitution for PVA
