Abstract: Mechanical properties of yarns have great influence on the fabric′s mechanical properties and durability.So,it is very important to research the mechanical properties of yarns,especially the dynamic mechanical properties. CTT developed by American Lawson-Hemphill Company was used to examine the dynamic mechanical properties of yarns,and tests result showed that the dynamic mechanical properties of the yarn have more impact on its production than the static mechanical properties.
