Abstract: The dificiencies in traditional method of quality control by adjusting the longitudinal density of the knitting fabrics were pointed out,the concept of quality control standard coefficient for modern knitting fabrics was presented.The calculation and application of quality control standard coefficient of different fabrics and the checking processes of testing apparatus were discussed.By analyzing the loop form and the fabric texture in mathematics,the theory of quality control of knitting fabric using stitch length was established.
