Abstract: In order to investigate the correlation of blended ratio and thermal-moisture comfort properties of soybean protein fiber/polyester knitted fabric, seven kinds of the blended fabrics with different blended ratios were chosen and their properties such as thermal retention, moisture vapor permeability, thermal conductivity, sensibility in temperature changes, air permeability and wettability were tested respectively with desired instruments. The experimental results show that as the content of soybean protein fiber increases in the blended fabric, the thermal retention property of the fabric improves gradually, thermal conductivity factor decreases, cool feeling gets better and better, air permeability improves and wicking effect enhances remarkably.
