Abstract: According to the principle of independent and random sampling,598 pupils got the opportunity for body measurement involving 30 sizes of their bodies for the purpose of garment making.The factor analysis of data obtained was conducted by using statistical software.It was observed that obtaining the measurements of waist-hip length and crotch length was very important for making bottoms and due attention should be paid to.And using these as reference basis,the design of children′s ready-made clothing specifications was carried out,which covered grading number value and control position number value of all series.The children′s common clothing specifications with practical value were worked out,providing an important guidance for manufacturers in avoidance of blind production and unnecessary waste or loss.
