Abstract: The linear effect is a typical kind of color-weave effects of fabric, which are made from different color yarns and fabric weave.Linear color-weave effects of fabric are widely applied in garment and decoration fields because of their particular decorative fabric texture. The researchers analyzed the array theory of weave point of linear color-weave effects of fabric, discussed the array elements of fabric weaves, from double colors to plural colors, including lengthways and transverse effects, and enumerated some methods of combinatorial design of the effects such as linear combination,planar-combination,and linear-planar-complex.Finally,the primary concept about computer design on linear color-weave effects of fabric was presented along with designs and tips for practical product development.
