Abstract: The permanent conductive property of the coated fibers prepared by traditional coating method is poor.To overcome it,electrically conductive polyester fibers were prepared by dissolving-coating method, which is on basis of fiber surface dissolved partly. The effects of the content of carbon black and dissolved polyester on volume resistivity and linear density of the fibers have been discussed. And the mechanical,wash-proof and thermal properties of the fibers were analyzed. The results showed that coated fibers prepared by dissolving?-coating method are retained the desirable characteristics of the original fibers while low volume resistivity(9.2 Ω·cm) and permanent conductivity are achieved.
