Abstract: The water and oil repellent properties of fabric treated with fluorine-contained agent will deteriorate to certain extent due to external influence such as soaping, chlorine bleaching, perspiration, rubbing and soiling. However, after high temperature((150 ℃))curing, its recovery of water and oil repellent properties is realized.Energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) is used to analyze the fluorine content on the surface of the fabric after high temperature curing treatment and 20 cycles of washing, and the results revealed that the deterioration or recovery of water and oil repellent properties of fabric lies in the change of the orientation of fluorine atoms on the fiber surface of the fabric.
